The flex man to man offense may be the most widely used offense in basketball. The popularity of flex is largely due to it's ease of running and it's effectiveness. To teach flex to your players you need to understand the basic rules of this offense.

Rule #1 if you set a pick you will next get a pick. #2 when you get a pick you will next set a pick or catch a pass. #3 if you make a pass you set a pick #4 if you catch a pass you shoot or make a pass.
