Zone Basketball Offense Play - Interchange

This is a simple zone basketball offense which is effective against 2-3, 3-2, and other zone defenses. The concept is the guards 1,2,3 make the pass and go opposite the side they pass the basketball and interchange positions. The 4 and 5 men both start out on the block and when the first pass is made the 4 or 5 who is on the opposite side of the basketball flashes high to the elbow (corner of foul line) the other works the short corner (space near the corner and on the baseline) until the basketball goes opposite of him.

When the ball goes opposite the guards interchange again and the man at the elbow goes back low on ball side while the other flashes high. The play continues running until an open shot is found. The guards will eventually get open from the outside and 4 or 5 may be open when flashing through the lane. The short corner option is also good.
